Tekitou is a Japanese word (pronounced like tech-toe) without an equivalent in English. The idea is that something is not set in stone with measurements or rules, in other words, you are playing it by ear and seeing what happens as you go.
The idea behind this blog is for different members to share their recipes that they discover or use on a regular basis without having to define exactly how much of each thing they put in (although that's fine too). That way we can simply share what we used, about how much of it was put in, and what we did.
